Living on Jewish Time:  The Cycle of the Year

“A time for winter, a time for spring, a time to celebrate, a time to sing.”  Why is Rosh Hashanah early some years and late for others?  Why are Chanuka and Passover so important, but Tisha b’Av is not?  How do we tell time on a weekly and monthly basis?  What are the holidays and memorial dates that make up our annual calendar? All are welcome to attend Rabbi Peter Schweitzer’s presentation and discussion of these questions and answers about the cycles of the year.
