Living on Jewish Time: Passages of One’s Life
“From birth to death, from cradle to grave, we mark the passages of life. These moments of transition and transformation are universal. They are part of the human experience.” How do we mark the journey of our lives from birth to youth to old age, and death, which can come at any point along the way? How do we create meaningful naming ceremonies, initiation rites, partnerships and marriages, funerals and memorials? Susan Ryan, long-time City Congregation member, presents this program and discussion on how Humanistic Jews mark our lives’ transitions.
This is a free program. All are welcome. Registration requested.
