The Talmud is the basis for Jewish law and was recorded from oral tradition in the first centuries of the Common Era.
Talmud teaches not only about the Jewish legal code but also discusses the ethics, philosophy and customs of the agrarian society between the Tigris and the Euphrates.

Why would secular Jews want to study the Talmud? Click here to find out.

The Talmud class is for congregation members, and is a benefit of membership. Guests are welcome for a limited number of classes.
