LADINO SECULAR FOLKSONGS: A Window into Sephardic History and Culture, with Sarah Aroeste

Explore the Judeo-Spanish musical traditions of Sephardic Judaism. In this interactive workshop (not a performance) we will use Ladino folk songs, rhythms, proverbs and more as a window into Ladino culture through the ages

Inspired by her Sephardic roots from Spain and Greece, international recording artist Sarah Aroeste is bringing Ladino music back to life for a new generation through her unique blend of rock, funk, jazz and blues. Find out about her new album Gracia at www.saraharoeste.com.

The cultural program and pot-luck desert follow Shabbat services. Childcare provided for children 11 and younger.

RSVP Appreciated, but not required
