We are sorry to report that the National Geographic Explorer show has cancelled next week’s taping. We’re disappointed not to have this outing but look forward to others.
You’re invited Thursday, December 8, to attend a taping of National Geographic Channel’s long-running, critically acclaimed series Explorer, which is being relaunched this fall. The show — hosted by British TV personality Richard Bacon, and taped in front of a live studio audience — offers a mix of short documentaries, roundtable discussions, and in-depth interviews. TCC member Jack Lechner is a Supervising Producer for the show.
The taping will be at CBS Studios, 530 W. 57th St. (at the corner of 11th Avenue). Audience members need to arrive at 6 pm sharp. Taping begins at 7 pm, and can run to as late as 9 pm. All audience members must be at least 18 years old.
