Theatre of the Oppressed NYC partners with communities facing discrimination to inspire transformative action through theatre.  In TCC’s ninth Annual Theatre of the Oppressed NYC collaboration, facilitators from the Theater of the Oppressed will come to City Congregation and employing core exercises from the arsenal of theatre will help us create our own shows. These theatre games encourage “de-mechanization” of the body and the mind so we can freely be ourselves, secure our human rights, follow our own dreams, and be true leaders in our communities.
