Cultural program:

My Humanistic Author: Feminist Authors

In our new program series, “My Humanistic Author”, members share how a creator – author, director, artist, poet, etc. – made a significant Humanistic impact on their lives.

The first installment will be about Feminist Authors, in which our members will talk about authors who helped shape their feminist and humanistic views.
Deb Freeman will talk about author Penelope Fitzgerald, Anna Genoese will talk about Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy, and Gladys Foxe found something interesting that psychoanalyst Melanie Klein, amazing Eleanor Roosevelt, and academic Carolyn Heilbrun all have in common.

If you have a story about a feminist author who made a significant impact on your life, please come prepared to share your story following the program.
