Please join us for this first in a series of three Adult Perspectives classes. For there to be heretics, there had to be an established orthodoxy, something to rebel against. In the third century BCE, a man known only by his title Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) preached in Jerusalem that there was no heaven or hell (okay, maybe there was a hell) and that God didn’t care. For some reason he was not burned at the stake and his writing survives in the Hebrew Bible. Come find out more of the life and times of Kohelet AKA Ecclesiastes!
