Humanistic Judaism and Philosophy – Ilan Sandberg
Philosophy is a way of thinking about the world, the universe, and society. It can also familiarize us with other perspectives and make us more self-aware.
In this talk, TCC member Ilan Sandberg will explore ways in which we may be more dependent on philosophy in our daily lives than we realize, just through the kinds of thinking we do to get by in life. Ethical thinking is basic to a philosophical outlook.
Ilan will also share his own philosophical questioning and how it led him to humanistic Judaism, and his reflections on philosophical thinking.
