Shabbat Service and Cultural Program
Our Shabbat service, followed by a Cultural Program:
A Quiet Hero: Marcel Marceau
Join us this Friday, September 16th, when City Congregation member James Ryan presents a short presentation on the life of Marcel Marceau. We look at what made him a universally loved entertainer and phenomenal mime artist, and how his experiences growing up Jewish under the Nazi occupation of France impacted his work.
Jim Ryan is a long time TCC member and volunteer. He is a history enthusiast and the author of The Pirates of New York and Red Jenny and the Pirates of Buffalo: A Novel of Consequences.
We will be streaming this service!
