SURVIVING THE CHALLENGES OF CAREGIVING: Strategies and Insights

Debra Drelich, founder of NY Elder Care Consultants, will offer an overview of how to create a roadmap to survival, before and once the changes of aging begin.  Her presentation will focus on the needs of the older person as well as their caregivers.  Debra is a advocate for a “team” approach to caregiving, that includes family, and other professionals including physicians, attorneys, financial planners, and others.

Ms. Drelich is a licensed social worker who has worked in every facet of the elder care profession.  She has served in leadership positions running senior housing facilities, adult day care programs and care management practices.  She has served as the President of the NY Aging Life Care Association, and has served on its board of directors for over 20 years.
