Annual Purim Celebration

Let’s make it a festive party!

One of The City Congregation’s most enjoyable, and well-attended events is our Purim Shabbat, featuring dinner, hamantaschen, games, drinking, and lots of singing.

Come celebrate Purim at the City Congregation with Hamentaschen, drink, noise, and a talk by Rabbi Tzemah Yoreh on the meaning of the MEGILLAH for Humanist Jews.

6:30pm Festive Catered Dinner with Hamantaschen!
7:30pm Purim Music, Retelling the Story, Woman of Valor segment that will honor another unsung Jewish heroine

Reservations for dinner must be pre-paid by Wednesday, March 4;
$25 for adults, $10 for children.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Purim Celebration will take place at St. John’s Church, 81 Christopher Street.
