Contemporary Humanistic Judaism: Beliefs, Values, Practices

Rabbi Jodi Kornfeld, co-editor (with Rabbi Adam Chalom) of the recently published Contemporary Humanistic Judaism: Beliefs, Values, Practices will share an overview of the book and how it came to be. There will be a discussion of culture and time allotted for Q&A.

Rabbi Jodi Kornfeld founded Beth Chaverim Humanistic Jewish Community in Deerfield, IL in 2003. She holds a Masters of Jewish Studies and a Doctor of Science in Jewish Studies from Spertus College in Chicago. Rabbi Kornfeld was ordained by the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism in October 2009. She has presented at many educational conferences for Jewish educators, and coordinated two national conferences for Humanistic Jewish educators.
