Cultural program:
TCC autobiographies: Shirley Ranz
Interviewed by Ernie Rubinstein
Join us as we continue this series of interviews to help us get to know our members! In this program members tell us about the Jewish and Humanistic aspects of their lives and work.
This time our member Ernie Rubinstein will interview Shirley Ranz. Shirley has been with the congregation almost from day one in 1992, serving in many capacities including Vice President, Board member and currently co-chairing the Shabbat Committee. “I grew up in a home steeped in secular Yiddish culture and Socialist Zionism, so for me the next logical expression of my Jewish identity was Humanistic Judaism.”
