Shabbat Service and Cultural Program: The German Jews of Chile

Our Shabbat service.

Cultural program:

The German Jews of Chile

Dan Wyman has been a longtime member and leader at TCC. In August, his mother, Eva Goldschmidt Wyman, died at age 87 after a life on three continents. During the last 15 years of her life she dedicated much time to researching and writing about the German Jews, like she and her family, who fled Nazi Germany for Chile, where she grew up.

Eva recorded a talk about her research and her family’s experiences. Dan will host a screening of an excerpt from this talk followed by a live question and answer session about Eva’s work on the German Jews of Chile.

We’ll be streaming this in-person service!
