On June 12th, 2020, we had a Shabbat musical program led by our High Holiday musicians: David, Jen, and Jordan Klein.
The program was People Of The Libretto: Songs For A Quarantine.
People Of The Libretto was a musical performance series presented annually at City Congregation in order to play, sing, and enjoy culturally Jewish music from a host of genres. In the past, they’ve included music composed by, performed by, or made famous by, Jewish musicians. “Songs For A Quarantine” revived the series, offering songs thematically relevant to our complicated lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. They created an evening of varied musical and emotional notes, and togetherness.
