On November 6th, 2020, we had the honor and pleasure of having a guest speaker: Allan Chernoff, who was gracious enough to allow us to share a recording of his presentation about the Lost Society of Polish Jewry.
Allan Chernoff shared stories from the book which he has co-written with his mother. Rena Margulies Chernoff was a young survivor of the Holocaust, and The Tailors of Tomaszow is a unique communal memoir and history of the survivors of Rena’s hometown, Tomaszow-Mazowiecki, Poland. The Tailors of Tomaszow delivers a rare, unvarnished, and memorable account of Polish Jewry through the eyes of child and teenage survivors, before, during and after World War II.
